Mind Movies 2.0: The Power of Video Vision Boards

One of my favorite scenes in the movie The Secret, is when John Assaraf tells the story about how after he and his family moved into their dream home in San Diego, his son found an old vision board with a picture of the exact house that they were moving into. That particular vision board with that picture of his new home, had been packed away in a box in storage for over a year! After I saw that I sure made a bunch of vision boards!!

However just the act of making a vision board and casually looking at it now and again, is not enough to really get the Secret Law of Attraction really efficiently working in your life.

The way the Secret Law of Attraction really works, is that when you start focusing on manifesting something into your life, you have to use visualization. Not only that, because the process of focusing on what you want to attract and visualizing is literally re-wiring your brain to be on the alert for doors opening for you so you can manifest your desire, you need to really be practicing this visualization many times a day and with great intensity.

Many of the Secret gurus have gone on to teach us how to really make visualization work for you in using the Law of Attraction. For example they say you must:

• Get really clear and focused on what you're attracting
• Use all your senses whey you're visualizing
• Really have vivid visualizations that seem very real
• Feel the emotions connected with your visualization
  
• Stay in that emotional state for as long as possible
• Use this visualization as often as possible and optimally many times a day.
  
• Do all of the above while focusing on your vision board
  

But some people have a hard time doing this. In fact some of the stumbling blocks people report having with the visualization part of using the Law of Attraction are:

• I don't have a very good imagination
• I can't get real specific in my visualizations
• I have a hard time using all my senses in my visualizations
• My mind wanders when I try to visualize
• I don't feel much emotion when I'm trying to visualize
• I forget to look at my vision board
• I can't access/carry with me my vision board to look at during breaks at work
• I have a hard time finding the right pictures
  
• I spend too much time on creating the vision boards
